Many of the services I provide are fixed fee type engagements. Basically, we agree upon the exact service I am providing you and a price. If the effort takes longer than anticipated on my side, I do not charge you extra for that miscalculation. If you have ever worked with other attorneys you may recognize the experience of them quoting you a ballpark cost for the legal services and then later getting a bill from your attorney for more than the estimate. I do not practice that behavior. Your budget for the legal services is just as important as the services rendered.

What happens if you want more services than orginally agreed? We expand the service agreement and additional fees will be calculated for the additional legal services.

Do you perform services on an hourly basis? Of course, and in those situations I bill you by the hour. Through the client portal, you can login at any time and see exactly how much time I spend providing legal services for you. The client portal is updated in real time - so you are never surprised by a large bill months later.
